Old Zion Strawberry Social

Old Zion’s annual Strawberry Social, is held on the second Saturday of June at Old Zion Church, Reifsnyder Road in Brickerville.

You will enjoy sampling chicken corn soup.  Then savor the tastes of homegrown, ripe strawberries combined with cake, ice cream, and whipped topping.   A cup of iced tea is included to help you “wash down” this HUGE dessert.

The view of Brubaker Valley from the church’s hillside is simply lovely.

Bring your lawn chairs, food trays, and your friends to enjoy a beautiful, old-fashioned summer afternoon.

All of the proceeds from the Strawberry Social go toward helping to maintain and preserve quaint Old Zion and its surrounding grounds and cemetery.
